Step 3 - Offer

Once you have expressed an interest in swapping with another member your property and contact details are placed in the “My Account---Shortlist” area. If your home interests that customer he or she will  contact you to discuss the possible swap and if suitable, make arrangements to view each others property.

Please note your contact details can only be viewed by that customer and it is up to that tenant to contact with you

If you have received no contact from the other party within 21 days you can assume they are not interested in swapping with you and would suggest that you then withdraw your bid

After viewing each others homes and you both would like to proceed with the swap you confirm this again via the “shortlist area” Details of both parties to the exchange  will then be forwarded to the local housing office where the necessary arrangements to contact you both will be made

It is essential that no arrangements are made to move until you have received formal approval from your landlord and have completed  the required documentation
