Step 2 - Choosing

Log into “My Account” using your membership number and pin number(date of birth of the main applicant)

(You can search for a suitable property without being logged in but you will not be able to express an interest if you do find a property you like)

You will then be directed to your main account, from here follow the link to the “property search page.

On this page you can search for a suitable exchange by viewing all the properties or you can refine your search to a particular area,  or estate or by number of  bedrooms. To do this click on the area then highlight the estate and then bedroom size. You can highlight more than 1 estate by holding down the control key and highlighting other selected estates

Once you have found a property that you like you can express your interest by placing a bid in that property’s bid box.

As soon as you confirm your interest your contact details will appear in the other members account box. By opening the “My Mutual Exchange” and then by viewing the “Shortlist” the tenant of the other property will be able to view all the information about your home and your contact details

You can also withdraw this bid any any time. As soon as you do this your contact details and other information will be removed from that customers shortlist 

Please note it is up to the other party to make contact with you

If you have received no contact from the other party within 21 days you can assume they are not interested in swapping with you and would suggest that you then withdraw your bid

You should always remember to check your own "shortlist area" on aregular basis to see if anyone is interested in swapping with you. 

All properties are advertised using the following descriptive symbols

			The number of bedrooms in the property
			The property advertised is sheltered or extra care sheltered housing
			The property has a garden
			Off road parking is available at the property
			The property is wheelchair accessible or has been adapted and priority will be given to households assessed as needing these adaptations.
